You will participate in and facilitate groups according to the in-house program activities and support the clients in withdrawal by considering their physical and psychological needs to reduce further risks.Monitor physical withdrawal and respond with protocol medicationEvaluate client needs, respond in a timely manner and be involved in coordinating and collaborating with the Welfare Worker in all aspects of client management in recovery processIdentify and anticipate a decline in client's physical/emotional withdrawal stateBe responsible for having information and knowledge of client history, progress pathology and follow up via handoverEnsure documentation is according to SVHM requirementsMonitor team functioning, including the responsibility to ensure safety and cleanliness of the unit, maintaining equipment (medical and domestic) and timely reporting of damagesBackfill for staff on leave, working 8-10 hour shifts on a rotating roster, including am, pm and night duty shifts.Classifications for this position will range from YU1 - YU2 ($99,439 per annum pro rata)About Depaul HouseDepaul House is a 12 bed Community Residential Alcohol and Other Drug Withdrawal unit, caring for people and providing a medicated withdrawal for up to 10 days.
