Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit.As a Registered Nurse – Critical Care/ICU, your responsibilities will include:Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing careProvide complex and multi-disciplinary careWork collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needsAct as a role model for Safe PracticeSupervise, direct and support nursing team membersDeliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needsSupervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient careAuthority to Work in AustraliaVictorian Working with Children checkBachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalentCurrent Registration (no restriction) with AHPRAPost Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards)Clinical experience in an ICU environmentCompliance with ACQSHC National standardsClinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvementSelf-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning teamHighly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focusedWhy Healthscope?
