You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience throughout their care. About us Melbourne Private Hospital is a 124-bed private hospital co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital in the heart of Parkville, 1.7km from Melbourne CBD. Our hospital offers highly specialised services including extensive neurosurgery, neurology, advanced coronary care, cardiothoracic, orthopaedic, and general surgery. These services are supported by a 10-bed intensive care unit, 4-bed acute coronary care unit and 6-bed neurosurgical high dependency unit. As a Registered Nurse – Critical Care/ICU, your responsibilities will include: Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs Act as a role model for Safe Practice Supervise, direct and support nursing team members Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs Authority to Work in Australia Victorian Working with Children check Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA Post Graduate Certificate in ICU/CCU (or working towards) Clinical experience in an ICU environment Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused Why Healthscope?
