We currently have permanent shift roles available within our residential facility working in our memory support units.
The shifts that we have available are as follows which ideally the same RN will pick up to provide consistent care to our residents:
Week 1 Thursday/Friday 15:00 – 22:30
Saturday/Sunday 07:00 – 15:15
Week 2 Thursday 15:00 – 22:30
Monday 07:00 – 15:15
In addition we have 2 x Friday pm shifts 15:00 – 22:30 and Week 2 Saturday/Sunday 07:00 – 15:15.

Your skills, training and experience checklist: Experience in a Registered Nurse position Knowledge of the aged care industry and the associated standards is preferable Current Registration with the AHPRA Previous experience leading a team of care workers and effective teamwork Previous practical experience undertaking client assessments and developing individual person-centred care plans Excellent Communication skills both Verbal and written National Police Clearance, less than 6 months old Evidence of COVID and Flu Vaccinations Key Accountabilities of the Role: Undertake clinical assessments within the scope of practice, update care plans and ensure the appropriate referral to other members of the team where condition or need changes. Work in partnership with every consumer to ensure that care plans reflect their individual preferences. Lead and monitor the delivery of care to the consumers assigned to your area for each shift ensuring it meets the Aged Care Quality Standards Work collaboratively with other clinical staff supporting those more junior members including Enrolled Nurses. Manage junior staff on a daily basis and participate in performance management under the direction of the clinical care manager. Where training or education needs are identified, facilitate training and support educational development of staff. Ensure the delivery of appropriate and quality care meet the consumer's needs in a timely manner including, but not limited to, personal care, social support, medication administration, mobility and comfort and nutrition needs.
