Location:We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Community to provide care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals within the community.
The Role: Launceston Community Nursing is a dynamic and proactive service that works together as a team in a supportive manner to enable clients to discharge from the acute service and return home as soon as possible. Care provided includes but is not limited to managing complex wounds, continence management, and palliative care.Working in the community gives you the time to care for your client in a meaningful and holistic manner.Come and join our team and develop your nursing skills in subacute and chronic care and see how rewarding nursing in the primary health space is.The team: Launceston Community Nursing Service is a vibrant and social team who enjoy seeing clients in the community. Our friendly and engaging team is supportive of developing skills and interested in growing the service to meet the needs of the community. Currently, the team at Launceston Community Nursing is engaging in a quality improvement project to complete trials of voids in the community for clients in their homes in order to reduce hospital bed days required. The team is always looking for ways to reduce inpatient length of stay and is proactive in supporting quality improvement initiatives. If you are a proactive Nurse who likes to work autonomously, then this is the opportunity for you to come and join a team of like-minded Nurses and health care professionals.
Details of appointment: Fixed term, part-time, shift worker position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing 13 December 2024 until 13 December 2025. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Current Driver's Licence.*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
