Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre – Division of Medicine, Cardiac and Critical CareSalary $72,651.00 - $99,129.00 (Pro Rata) RN/M1| Multiple part time and full time positions available – Ongoing Ward 6A is looking for their next Nurse to join their team in an ongoing role!About the role: Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, this role will provide direct person centred nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients/clients on a shift by shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.
Duties for the role will include: Participate in quality improvement activities that contribute to patient/client safety, risk minimisation and safe work activities within the practice settingProvide, with increasing capacity over time, support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing careProvide health promotion and education, to patients/clients or groups and carers to improve the health outcomes of individualsSupport nursing practice and learning experiences for students undertaking clinical placements, orientation for new staff and preceptorship of graduates About you: Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skillsAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamRegistered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificateProven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Care Service Standards Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.This is a single vacancy, with two possible appointment classifications.
The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience.
To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
