About the Role: Morier Ward is a 20 bed acute psychiatric inpatient unit that caters for people aged 18 to 65 who are living in the outer southern suburbs of Adelaide. The ward provides initial and ongoing assessment for people who experience severe episodes of mental illness, and provides support to the client, their carers and family. We encourage a respectful and meaningful therapeutic alliance between patients and staff. About you: Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Demonstrated competence in mental health nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to be, creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
