As part of the multidisciplinary team at the Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service, you will ensure the delivery of high quality care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and student nurses.

About You Registered as a Nurse or Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.To be a strong contender, you will have a solid background in emergency nursing practice (triage and resus) and be highly responsive to patients' needs.A team player with the demonstrated ability to think on your feet and work within changing environments, you will work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.Good organisation skills will be essential, along with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet set timelines whilst working under minimal supervision.You will also possess good communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
