North West Regional Hospital is part of a network of hospitals in Tasmania.
Our Emergency Department supports the smaller services in our region and in turn we are supported by Launceston General Hospital and Royal Hobart Hospital.
We have developed the Emergency Department Transition Program to support graduate nurses and nurses new to emergency nursing.
This highly engaging six-month program has received credit from the University of Tasmania as a subject toward a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing.
You will be part of the team growing the next generation of emergency nurses.
The Role: Clinical Facilitator in the Emergency Department.
Support learners in the Emergency Department at North West Regional Hospital.
Work alongside as mentor, coach, and support across the roster for junior staff and people new to the department.
Do you enjoy teaching in practice?Have you highly developed clinical competence in the Emergency Department setting?Are you excited to be part of a vibrant team of people passionate about evidence-based practice?Registered nurse with substantial Emergency Department nursing experience.
Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role are highly desirable. Details of appointment: Permanent, part-time, shift worker position, working up to 16 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $96,558 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
