The Registered Nurse - Clinical Facilitator applies nursing expertise and contemporary teaching and learning practice to facilitate the learning of students and novice or beginning nurses.
The Team: North West Regional Hospital is the major teaching hospital in the North West of Tasmania. It is supported by the Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital. You will join an experienced team of award-winning educators in this dynamic role.
The Role: Clinical Facilitators support learners in the Emergency Department. This role is part of the education team and is a shift work position.
You will be a Registered Nurse with/or substantial progress towards postgraduate qualification in a relevant area.You will need: Emergency Department experience including triage and resusThe ability to provide evidence-based emergency careThe willingness to support learners at all stages of clinical development from undergraduate students to experienced nursesNote: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, shift worker position (fully rotational), working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013.
