The Scrub/Scout Nursing team works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high quality care to patients/clients during the intraoperative phase of their elective and emergency surgical procedures.
The Role: The Registered Nurse/Midwife - Clinical Coach: Scrub/Scout Nursing
Contributes to workplace activities and works collaboratively in assisting and supporting the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in achieving the goals of the service by contributing to workplace activities beyond the immediate responsibility of delivering clinical care to clients. This will include the Clinical Coach Portfolio, with active involvement in clinical education; clinical leadership and management; safety and quality; and practice development.Contributes to positive client outcomes by facilitating the competence and confidence of novice clinicians via clinical coaching.Is an experienced member of the Scrub/Scout Nursing team with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the role.Supports the clinical skills development of novice and experienced members of the scrub/scout nursing team.Details of appointment: Multiple permanent, full time or part time, shift worker (fully rotational) positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $75,902 - $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
