About us:
Rockhampton Hospital is the referral hospital in Central Queensland providing a CHOICES program consisting of termination of pregnancy and early pregnancy loss services. Termination healthcare is provided in partnership with the woman (and family, where appropriate) and the healthcare professional. It is led by the woman's health needs, concerns and choices. Use clinical judgement when determining if all aspects of care are appropriate for the individual woman.
About the role:
Work within scope of practice to provide coordination and support for the woman's care journey to ensure smooth and efficient provision of CHOICES services. Support the creation of partnerships, for example, providing a central point of communication, engagement and coordination for all stakeholders involved in the woman's care. Provide direct nursing care to patients/clients utilising clinical skills, education, and support within the CHOICES Clinics to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care in line with the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council Competencies. About you:
Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Proven ability to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Ability to provide high quality clinical care to women who are undertaking a Termination of Pregnancy. Proven ability to work in collaboration with medical and other health professionals so that every woman receives holistic care. What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $63,740 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $41.73 - $53.53 p.h. 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 17.5% leave loading Other benefits include:
