About the role: The Children & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Orange is a multidisciplinary team and partners with a range of Health Services and other agencies to provide acute mental health services to young people and their carers. The service provides evidence-based best practice in a trauma-informed and recovery-focused environment with young people and their carers central to their care.
To be successful in this role, you will have effective engagement, assessment, and interactional skills, as well as the ability to manage people exhibiting challenging behaviours. You will also possess high-level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in your team. You'll work in an environment that values and supports your professional development, with opportunities to build your clinical confidence and skills.
Bloomfield Campus - Mental Health Drug & Alcohol (MHDA) is in Orange, NSW, approximately 4km from the CBD. The campus is situated in landscaped and park gardens, with a mix of modern and heritage-listed buildings.
