Calvary Bruce Private's Critical Care Unit has 8 beds and specialises in Critical Care, Post-Surgical High Dependency care, Coronary Care and other complex disease processes.
Registered Nurses form a fundamental part of our Critical Care Unit and the multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Department of Veterans Affairs Liaison Nurse and a Discharge planner.
Our Registered Nurses apply their professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of their patients. The passionate team works cohesively to support people through some of their most vulnerable moments, managing an array of acute illness and diseases to patients with complex disease processes, not limited to critical care, cardiac and neurological issues.
What you bring Mandatory: Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Evidence of commitment to maintaining ongoing professional development through participation in education and training activities relevant to the field of clinical practice.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.Highly Desirable: Post Graduate qualification in Advanced Practice Nursing, Critical Care Nursing or working towards the same.NFP salary packaging benefits, discounted health insurance, and gym memberships.Paid parental leave.Training, development pathways, and career opportunities.Please note the following: As part of the application process, you will be required to complete pre-employment checks which may include, but is not limited to, reference checks, work rights, criminal history check, NDIS/WWCC/WWVP checks, and a health evaluation to ensure suitability for the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
