Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network, Port Augusta Hospital & Regional Health Services, Port Augusta Salary: $36.65 - $50.01 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual (up to 30 June 2025) - RN/M1 The Registered Nurse Role The Registered Nurse offers nursing and/or midwifery services within healthcare settings.
Progressing from novice to proficient practitioners, individuals at this level continuously enhance their professional practice through ongoing learning and practical experience.
They consolidate their knowledge and skills through continuous professional development, taking accountability for maintaining their own standards of nursing/midwifery care and overseeing delegated activities.
Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
Check(s) DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g.
aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients) Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
