Montessori Care is an aged care and registered NDIS service provider of in-home care and disability supports.
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Clinical team, working with our clients and participants in Greater Sydney.
The role: As a qualified nurse you will support the Clinical Services Manager and provide clinical instruction to our Operations team, clients and their stakeholders. You will deliver compassionate community nursing support to our aged care clients and NDIS participants.
Your core responsibilities include: Travel to client or worker locations to assess clinical supports and conduct competency/practical skills assessments. Coordinate clinical care and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. Provide collaborative clinical and professional leadership to implement best nursing practice for client care. Maintain awareness of current legislation and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations. Be an attributing member of the Clinical team. Collect and maintain accurate health care records as required. Communicate effectively with clients and team members. Monitor and record client's condition and document provided care services. Fulfil various duties requested by management or other teams as required. The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor of Nursing or Diploma of Nursing. Current Ahpra registration with no restrictions. Current PI insurance. NDIS Worker Check, or willingness to obtain. Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain. Valid drivers license and own vehicle. Right to Work in Australia. Experience: NDIS knowledge or prior community nursing experience is highly valuable. Knowledge in health care and patient assistance. A track record of commitment and reliability. Computer literacy and medium level proficiency in Microsoft Office. 2 Clinical referees will be required. Customer service: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face. Adaptability: positive approach to change and an openness to meet the flexible nature of the role. Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience. Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally. Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner. Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members. Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
