Exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the Department of Health!
The Role: The Registered Nurse provides virtual patient/client centred nursing care to those enrolled with Care@home.
Deliver evidenced based care within a nurse led serviceStrengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.The Team: The Care@home program brings together acute, community and primary care to provide safe and effective virtual in-home healthcare for those with acute or chronic illnesses.
The Care@home office is located in Cambridge Park, with access to free parking.
Dynamic and flexible workforceSupportive team environmentDetails of appointment: Multiple fixed term, full time or part time, day worker/shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately seven (7) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annumAccess to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification typeBenefits available to eligible candidates: Professional development and accelerated pathways.Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
