What you will be doing in this role We have Full Time and Casual roles available within our Cardiac Catheter Lab (CCL) for experienced critical care Registered Nurses. Reporting to our supportive Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will be an experienced all-round Registered Nurse who will work in admissions, within the Lab and within the day ward. You will support Cardiologists to diagnose and treat patients while ensuring you provide high-quality, person-centred care.
This is an ideal role for an experienced Cardiac Registered Nurse, however, backgrounds from within Theatres – Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetics, Radiology or Critical Care will also be considered.
The CCL team are very supportive and want to see you succeed in the role therefore a detailed orientation will be provided to the successful candidate, and you will work alongside a buddy until you are feeling confident in the role.
Who we're looking for: You'll have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months experience.You'll have experience working within a Cardiac Cath Lab (highly desirable) or experience within a Theatre, Radiology or Critical Care setting.You'll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.You'll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.You'll have the ability to work a Mon – Fri roster with the ability to participate in the on-call roster as needed.You'll have full Australian working rights.What to expect Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments. These vary and could include professional references, a national police check, working with children check, vaccination evidence, among others.
