Job Description

In addition to our values, our support staff require:
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Relevant Bachelor or Master of Nursing Degree
Current AHPRA Registration (until 31/05/2025)
First Aid Certificate (3 years validity)
CPR Certificate (12 months validity)
Manual Handling Certificate (12 months validity)
Medication Administration Certificate (12 months validity)
NDIS Worker Check (WWVP Card)
National Police Check (3 years validity)
Driver's License & own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
About the Role
Danny Met Sally has exciting opportunities for current Registered Nurses to join our team as a Community Nurse.
Due to the participant's background, Female Registered Nurses are required for this position. This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption and occupation qualification and is authorised under (Part 4, Division 4.1, Section 33A, Section 33B (1) (a)(b) & (2), Section 33C ((a) (i), (ii)) & (b), & Section 33D of the AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY Discrimination Act 1991).
You will be supporting NDIS participants with a range of high complex care needs including but not limited to Wound Care, PEG Feeding, Manual Handling & Transfers, Medication Administration, and Personal Care.
Other duties include community participation, domestic assistance, and other services depending on the client's needs.
