The Role We are seeking a dedicated Registered nurse with a passion for aged care to join our Residential Facility at Thomas Scott Hostel in Camillo. The role is Permanent Part-Time working 55.30 hours per fortnight. This is a fixed term contract ending August 3rd 2025. Week 1 Thursday: 2200-0715
Friday: 2200-0715
Saturday: 2200-0715
Week 2 Thursday: 2200-0715
Sunday: 2200-0715
Key responsibilities: Perform comprehensive reviews of residents through clinical assessmentsSafely administer medication to residentsFalls management and preventionComplete documentation for residents ensuring accurate care planning and relevant supporting documentsSupervise the delivery of care plans on a daily basisProviding ongoing coaching, mentoring to the care staffComply with Occupational Health and Safety in accordance to Aged Care Standards and Risk ManagementAbout you The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. These skills are critical to your success in this role and you will be passionate about the residents and supporting your team.
You are clinical leader capable of using your clinical knowledge and skills to work with the team in pursuit of excellent care outcomes. You are closely aligned to the Quality of Care Principles, and are able to support, educate and mentor your team
