We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses and AINs to join our staffing agency working across Hospitals and Aged Care Facilities in Burnie and surrounding suburbs on a casual basis.
Shifts available include AM, PM, and ND.
Ad-hoc and block bookings available for both AINs & RNs.
About the position:
As a Registered Nurse working for AJN Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to elderly residents.
You will be responsible for ensuring their physical and emotional well-being while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
Responsibilities include:
Comprehensive nursing care, medication administration, wound care, and additional requirements.
Following the Registered Nurse scope of practice within Aged Care and/or Hospital settings.
Operating under infection control guidelines.
Ensuring a high level of communication and transparency with families or consumer representatives.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team while leading a team of nurses.
Maintaining incident prevention and management.
Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Standards, SIRS, and Restrictive Practices.
Requirements:
You're a confident, compassionate, and organized Registered Nurse with experience in Hospital and/or Aged Care.
Ability to lead a team, collaborate, and lead by example.
Experienced in incident management including documentation, prevention, and resolution.
Current AHPRA registration as a RN.
Minimum 6 months of experience in an Aged Care facility is desirable.
Up-to-date NDIS workers check, Police Check, and immunization records.
