About the role
Brisbane Private Hospital is currently looking for experienced Anaesthetics Registered Nurses to join our team on either a casual, part time or full time basis. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care.
Shift times for this role vary, including 6 and 10-hour day shifts starting at 630am, 8-hour evening shifts starting at 1230pm, and an option for twilight evening shifts from 1700pm-2100pm. On-call duties are required on weeknights and weekends.

Set at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane's busiest medical precinct, Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds, 17 operating theatres, and dedicated surgical, ICU and rehabilitation wards. We specialise in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation, with additional specialties including Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology, and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. We also deliver a leading private drug and alcohol program, Damascus Health Services, from our dedicated drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.
Your duties will include
Delivering excellent service and care to patients
Liaising within a multi-disciplinary team
Proven ability to work well within a team
Ensuring patient and staff safety
Sound knowledge of theatre equipment and safe use practices
Proven troubleshooting skills
Possessing organisational skills and completing documentation to a high standard
Adhering to Healthscope and site policies and procedures, contributing to the efficient, effective and economic running of the peri operative service.
Essential Criteria:
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration with AHPRA
Minimum 2 years Post Graduate experience in Anaesthetics
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Relevant post graduate qualification
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards

Remuneration:
If you are successful for this role, you will receive a salary based on the current nursing Enterprise Agreement - the "Healthscope - Queensland - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021" (salaries range between $39.66 - $52.97/hr for Registered Nurses).
