The Organisation
A reputable aged care organisation that provides residential aged care and retirement living services within NSW. They are a leading aged care provider in premium quality care services and sophisticated living. This role is based at their medium-sized home within the inner suburbs of Sydney.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical support of this aged care home. As part of your role, you will develop and implement care plans, administer medication, and provide wound care where required. You will be a dedicated and supportive team player and will have the support of the clinical care team/manager where needed. Ideally, you will be an experienced Registered Nurse who is flexible with different shift patterns and looking for the next step in their career. With recent experience in residential aged care and a strong advocate for overseeing and mentoring care staff, your primary purpose will be to collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a high level of continued care and quality improved outcomes for residents within the home.
Skills and Experience
Current AHPRA registration, at least two years of nursing experience across Residential Aged Care, experience managing care staff and providing support to teams, and a working understanding of the aged care standards.
