Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.At REDHS our team provides a diverse range of services for our local communities including Urgent Care, Acute Care, Residential Aged Care, Community Nursing, Allied Health and Home Care Services.
Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which is due for completion in December 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to join REDHS and be involved in the re-establishment of our services in Rochester.
Registered Nurse - Aged Care Casual (located in Rochester ) An opportunity exists for motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join REDHS on our Yalukang Aged Care team.
This position is required to work as a productive member of an interdisciplinary team to provide person centered care.
It is expected the RN will work within their scope of practice and demonstrate a comprehensive level of assessment, care planning, practice and evaluation in the provision of care to residents and their significant others.
In addition, Registered Nurses will develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families/carers and members of the health care team.
The successful applicant/s willbring the following:
A willingness to work across all shifts including morning, afternoon, night and weekend shifts;Current Registered Nurse Qualifications;Assessment, care planning, care delivery and evaluation skills;Understanding of the concept of person centred care;Ability to work as a part of a professional team with a commitment to collaborative practice and productive working relationships;Intermediate IT skills, inclusive of email, internet, databases and word processing;Evidence of ongoing clinical practice development.Further information can be obtained by contacting Mandy Mackenzie, Residential Care Manager on 0430 525 *** ******
