The King Island Hospital and Health Centre (KIHHC) are seeking a passionate and caring Registered Nurse who is wanting to make a difference in the life of our patients. With a strong focus toward continuously improving quality of nursing care provided, and ensuring patients and their families are involved in the planning and implementation of care. The facility caters for emergency, acute and residential aged care and is an excellent opportunity to extend your practice across a variety of service provision.
Responsibilities:Focus on ongoing professional and career development in the context of Rural and Remote Health.Enjoy work-life balance and explore the wonderfully remote island on your time off.Relocation allowance may be available for the right applicant.Details of appointment:Fixed term, full time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, from February 2025 until November 2025. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary:$75,902 to $102,908 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Minimum Requirements:Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
