We are seeking Registered Nurses to strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.
John L Grove Rehabilitation Unit: The John L Grove Rehabilitation Unit seeks experienced Registered Nurses for a 20-bed specialised rehabilitation unit which is situated a short distance away from the main campus of LGH. John L Grove rehabilitation is based on the social model of care where transition to premorbid or alternative lifestyle is a priority when planning, implementing, and evaluating the over care of a patient.
The multidisciplinary rehabilitation team (MDT) at John L Grove consists of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, operational staff, various allied health professionals, pharmacist, medical registrar. The Rehabilitation physician guides and directs the medical care of the patients in this unit.
Registered Nurse at John L Gove rehabilitation unit collaborates with MDT to plan, implement, and evaluate high quality, rehabilitation focused and patient centred care to the patients with various rehabilitation needs.
The Role: The Registered Nurse:

Details of Appointment Multiple Fixed term full time and part time, shift-worker position working up to 76hours per fortnight, commencing from 15 June 2024 until 14 June 2025

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $75,902 - $102,908 pro rataper annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4 Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013 Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
