An exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and passionate Registered Nurses to strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals. Based at the Launceston General Hospital.

The Role: The Registered Nurse:
Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
The Team: The Emergency Department (ED) of the LGH is a newly completed redeveloped 43 treatment space ED. If you see yourself thriving in the Emergency Department, check out the video attached for more details.
Diverse and inclusive team of staff with a high focus on creating a supportive and positive working environment.Strong multi-disciplinary teamwork and communication.Encouraging team that promotes ongoing education and training for all staff in the unit.Details of Appointment: Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, shift-worker (fully rotational) positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing from a mutually agreed date.
*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $75,902 - $102,908 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
