The Role We are seeking part-time midwives with a passion for providing current evidence-based care in collaboration with women and the wider health care team. Our midwives enjoy working across the service in all areas of midwifery with a work-life balance that 12-hour shifts provide. There is an opportunity to have input into the future development of evidence-based models of care for women and families. As a postnatal midwife, there will be support for gaining additional skills in areas such as lactation, women's health, and psychosocial wellbeing.

Providing high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groupsPlanning, assessing, implementing, and evaluating midwifery care in collaboration with women, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomesGuiding and mentoring junior and undergraduate midwives in the provision of midwifery careWorking collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needsBeing passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience for women and their families.As a high-performing team member, you will possess the following:
Current Registration as a Midwife with AHPRABachelor of Midwifery or Graduate Diploma in Midwifery (if Bachelor of Nursing is first qualification) or equivalentHighly developed clinical skills across the continuum of maternity care - with a desire to focus on postnatalExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsCommitment to a family-focused approach to careWe Offer: Flexibility with shift allocations and the commitment to work a rotating roster. If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 with a salary range between $35.46 - $49.79/hour.
