We have multiple opportunities for Registered Midwives (RM) to work in our Antenatal Clinic, Birthing Unit and Post Natal Ward at Wollongong Hospital. As a midwife passionate about supporting new families through the childbearing experience, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. This dedicated care and passion to creating a positive and safe environment will make a real difference in each new family's life.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

During the application process, applicants have the opportunity to nominate their preferred unit/ward or nominate to rotate through Maternity Services. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 3 December 2024 and Wednesday 4 December 2024.

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1)
