About you The Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate care in a patient-focused environment. The role is available on a flexible basis either full time, part time or casual.
Key Responsibilities Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant government health policies and procedures, the position description, code of conduct and industrial agreements.Giving direct care to mothers and newborns in Calvary's maternity unitGiving direct care to all patients on St Gerard's ward (woman's and children) and using a patient centred approach to patient assessmentMaintaining continuity of care for each patientWhat you bring Current registration with AHPRA as both a Nurse and a Midwife.Demonstrated recent clinical experience in a neonatal or maternity and an acute care hospital settingBachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalentDemonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisationWhy work for Calvary?
