About you The Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate care in a patient-focused environment. The role is available on a flexible basis either full time, part time or casual.
Key Responsibilities Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant government health policies and procedures, the position description, code of conduct and industrial agreements. Giving direct care to mothers and newborns in Calvary's maternity unit. Giving direct care to all patients on St Gerard's ward (women's and children) and using a patient-centred approach to patient assessment. Maintaining continuity of care for each patient. What you bring Current registration with AHPRA as both a Nurse and a Midwife. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in a neonatal or maternity and an acute care hospital setting. Bachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
