About our Thomson Unit Our Thomson Unit is a comprehensive hub, providing maternity services. As a Level 5 Maternity Service, and Level 4 Special Care Nursery, LRH is a referral service for smaller Gippsland regional maternity services, delivering 900 babies a year and providing the highest level of care.
About you Ideal candidates for this role will have:
Current Registration or eligibility for Registration as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with AHPRA.Recent competent clinical experience in all aspects of midwifery care.High level written and verbal communication and the use of information technology.Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.A women-centred approach to Midwifery Care.Commitment to excellence in practice.Ability to embrace and contribute to a learning culture.How to apply Join us in our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services to our community.
