Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, South Coast Hospital, Victor Harbor Salary: RN/M1 $72,651 to $99,129 p.a. (Pro-rata) / RN/M2C $84,870 to $107,279 p.a. (Pro-rata) Temporary Part-time position working 20 hours per week up to 6 January 2025, over a 7 day roster Please note that this position is multi-classified as either a RN/M1 or RN/M2C.
Overview South Coast Hospital is seeking a Registered Midwife to provide midwifery care to women in the Maternity Department. As a Midwife, you will participate in assessing women's needs and planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate care and service delivery. Working in partnership with women, you will respect and support their right to self-determination in the life processes of pregnancy, birthing and parenthood. In Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, we have established the continuity of care practice as standard. Dedicated to holistic midwifery, we will empower you to deliver the best possible care, with more hands-on involvement.
Registered as a Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. You must demonstrate a high standard of interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team leader. Proficiency in Information Technology and sound knowledge of the role of the Registered General Nurse/Midwife within a healthcare setting will contribute to your success in this role.
