Your role at St John of God Geraldton Hospital As an experienced Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for the provision of safe and compassionate clinical care on our Wexford maternity ward, whilst working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes.

The Position Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required. Promote and contribute to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital. Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate. Support and supervise staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff. Contribute to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Midwife, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

We can offer you Salary per annum: $74,748 to $98,362 (pro-rata for part-time) plus 11.5% superannuation. Casual Salary: $47.13 to $62.02 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 11.5% superannuation. Full-time, part-time and casual positions available.
