The Role: The Registered Midwife strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate midwifery care in partnership with women, their families and other health professionals. Maternity Services, Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) The RHH is the tertiary referral centre for Tasmania, we have around 2000 births each year. Our graduate program will give you the opportunity to consolidate your knowledge across antenatal clinic, antenatal inpatient cares, pregnancy assessment, labour and birth, inpatient postnatal care, community based postnatal care and lactation services. Opportunity to work within and learn from a dynamic multidisciplinary team that is passionate about supporting early career midwives. Details of appointment: Fixed term, part-time, shift-worker position working 64 hours per fortnight, various commencement dates for a period of 6 months. Salary: $75,902 - $102,908 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4. Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
