Position: Senior Architect
Location: Launceston CBD
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 + Superannuation (experience dependent)
Equity: Potential for equity stake after probation
Relocation: If you're not in Launceston, we can assist in getting you here and set you up for success or look at a hybrid model where you visit the team 2-3 days a week.

About Our Client Our client is the story of a successful partnership between two well-established building design businesses, with over 40 years of combined local industry experience.
Their focus is firmly on meeting their clients' needs and expectations, providing creative yet practical solutions.
With most work coming through word of mouth, they are expanding to meet the growing demand for their design services and explore new opportunities for growth.

The Role As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, drafting, specification, and coordination of a range of small to medium-sized commercial projects across Tasmania, as well as some residential work.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage architectural projects with a commercial focus.Collaborate with clients throughout the design process to refine their development needs.Develop detailed and precise design drawings using ARCHICAD.Coordinate planning and building approvals.Ensure accuracy and completeness of design documentation.Work within agreed financial parameters, including approved budgets.Mentor and train junior team members.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design requirements.Some statewide travel may be required.Requirements 3-10 years of post-graduation experience in architecture.Registered architect or in the process of registration.Strong proficiency in ARCHICAD.Proven understanding and application of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.Excellent communication skills in English.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.Experience in CAD/BIM management and contract administration is desirable but not essential.What We Offer Competitive salary range of $110,000 - $150,000, including superannuation.Potential for equity stake after probation.Attractive salary to recognise the value and expertise you bring to the team.Collaborative, casual, and flexible work environment.Opportunity to see projects through from conception to completion.Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.Lifestyle change opportunity to escape the bustling capital cities.How to Apply
