Working for our Central Nursing Bank, you will have exposure to a range of different areas in our hospitals, the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of various medical specialties and the potential to expand your professional skillset. The role will include: Dealing with diverse patient cases to enhance your adaptability and critical thinking skills, and exposure to different areas to provide a holistic view of patient care. Supporting rostering shortfalls, ensuring continuity of care to our patients and helping SALHN to maintain our excellent service quality. The opportunity to work in various units such as the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Neonatal Unit and more!

You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds or is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. About you:

Available to work at least .42FTE or more, and to work earlies, lates, and nights across a 7 day roster. You will possess effective communication skills including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, being creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting. The ability to prioritise workload and demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
