General Medical unit is seeking Registered and Enrolled Nurses Progress with purpose at one of Australia's largest health care providers Get ahead with salary packaging, benefits and professional development in a supportive team environment About the role There is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join the clinical team of Calvary's Acute Medical Unit.
The Medical Unit is a 25 bed mixed specialty unit that provides quality care in the areas of Respiratory, General Medical, Endocrinology, Cardiology and Infection Diseases.
Positions advertised are for permanent part time or full time rotational shift workers.
Key Responsibilities Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct, industrial agreements and ANMC competencies Consistently and enthusiastically delivers high levels of patient service to exceed patient expectations Plans nursing care in consultation with individuals/ groups, significant others and the interdisciplinary health care team Contribute to patient and staff safety and wellbeing by diligently managing risks and immediately reporting hazards, incidents, serious near misses, accidents, illness or injury Supports and respects team members, communicating effectively and demonstrating a commitment to the team What you bring: AHPRA Registration Demonstrated experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation Why work for Calvary?
