Trades Assistant positions are highly sought after as a lead in role to the mining industry.
The Linkforce minimum requirements for a Trades Assistant are as follows, you must hold ALL of these to be considered: Confined Space RIIOSH202 or RIIWHS202 Working at Heights RIIOSH204 or RIIWHS204 Construction White Card  Australian Driver Licence – MR class WorkSafe, High-Risk Work Licence – with EWP and/or Forklift  (RB or SB are also highly regarded) Telehandler Ticket Minimum of 1 year trade assistant experience in mining, construction or a similar labouring position Be a Perth based resident and hold unlimited Australian working rights for at least six months with the ability to extend this further Obtaining these qualifications will not guarantee you a Trades Assistant position but they are highly regarded within the mining industry.
