Your New Employer, Paraway Pastoral Company:Owns and operates large-scale sheep and cattle enterprises across Australia. They are a wholly owned operating entity of the Macquarie Pastoral Fund. The Fund is managed by Macquarie Asset Management Limited;Began with its purchase of the historic Riverina sheep stud "Pooginook" in 2007 and has grown to become one of the largest pastoral landowners/operators in Australia, with a total combined land holding of over 4.4 million hectares. They have purchased in excess of 35 properties and aggregated these into 28 pastoral businesses across regional Australia. Your New Role:You'll walk into a blank canvas of opportunity and be empowered by a highly inspirational Head of Technology to drive solutions and own the service delivery and overall experience the regional sites and corporate office have with IT. You'll enjoy providing all levels of support and partnering with strategic vendors to support you.Your role will be diverse across infrastructure (Microsoft), networks (satellite internet centrally managed through vendor solutions) and service/vendor management. You'll work closely with the regional sites to monitor and troubleshoot any technology issues they have (e.g., connectivity) and provide patient, logical and empathetic support. You'll have an ownership mentality and will take great pride in walking non-technical users through detailed troubleshooting to help them solve their problems.You'll love adventure! There will be lots in this role. You'll have the opportunity to really make the role your own and travel periodically to various regional sites across Australia to refresh technology, facilitate user IT training, provide onsite support or conduct technology audits and reviews.Your Skills & Experience:We'd love to hear from you if you have the following key experience/capabilities: 5+ years' experience working in a similar role;Strong experience with remote support, ideally with areas that have poor connectivity. You'll have strong experience talking remote stakeholders through problems step by step;Experience across the Microsoft infrastructure technical stack (O365, Windows Desktop & Hardware, Workplace technology).Strong networking skills. You'll ideally have managed a disparate network with regional locations centrally managed through solutions provided by vendors;Strong stakeholder engagement skills and relationship building skills;A growth mindset with a collaborative style and a strong willingness to learn and grow in your career; andAbove all else, you will have a humble, kind, empathetic, patient, friendly and trustworthy personality, with an excellent attitude and approach to supporting end users.
