Your opportunity We are seeking a Regional Strategic Pursuits Lead to drive the translation of Group and Regional market strategies into targeted pursuits and bids across our Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia (APNA) region.
A challenging and rewarding opportunity, we are looking for an experienced, creative and driven individual focused on continued improvement to increase our capture rate by bringing industry best practice to pursuit and bid strategy.
This energetic motivator will collaborate with a team of technical and subject matter experts at the highest level of our business to deliver great outcomes.
About you A key aspect of your role will be to lead a dynamic team of specialists to drive our work-winning engine across the different markets that we serve.
You will be a leader who demonstrates our values, with the energy and confidence to network, strategise, and win work, specifically:
Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities and develop strategies to access the pipeline of opportunities in the market.Advising on pre-positioning activities by working with Client Directors, Regional Market Leads, and senior staff to develop and execute capture plans.Guiding bid teams on major bids, including formulating bid strategies and win themes, and using best practice tools and templates for the development of high-quality proposals aligned with Mott MacDonald branding and guidelines.Working with highly technical teams, aligning technical, commercial, and operational solutions to our client's needs.Coaching project team members, facilitating workshops and preparing for client interviews and interactive dialogues.Embracing technology to maintain best practice resources, developing training programs to uplift capability, and driving continuous improvement across the region.You will bring a proven track record in managing and developing successful and compelling high quality pursuits from inception to contract.
You are a strategic thinker comfortable working collaboratively across the business and sectors to help formulate winning strategies.
You take initiative, questioning the status quo to develop new approaches in changing markets while leaning into your experience to maintain a culture of excellence.
You thrive working under pressure and to deadlines.
You demonstrate a strong leadership presence, effectively managing up and down, with the drive to deliver exceptional results.
While qualifications in professional bid management are preferred, experience in the realms of engineering, construction or infrastructure would be highly valued.
