THE COMPANY YOU WOULD BE JOININGThis global medical device organisation is a company which looks to the needs of healthcare workers and the patients they serve.This is based on their mission to help them deliver better products to make life more rewarding and dignified for those who use their products.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUSuccessful product portfolio, quality products for best patient outcomes.Global company who value their employees like no other, fantastic culture.Excellent remuneration.Autonomous opportunity, no micro management.You will encourage your team to give open, honest and candid feedback that adds value to the business and will be encouraged to share any feedback you have with your manager, certainly you will have a big seat at the management table!WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROWThis Regional Sales Manager role, managing a sales team across NSW, QLD & NZ, will be responsible for the management, coaching and development of 8 Territory Managers as well as achieving revenue targets for the region.The position will set expected levels of performance and accountability and enable empowerment and a sense of urgency.The role will recruit, retain and develop all reporting staff, providing ongoing field training (at least 3 days a week in-field, travelling in NSW, QLD & NZ), and onboarding any new hires.You will motivate sales representatives utilising all tools, technology and techniques and conduct mid-year & end-of-year performance reviews, to support the team achieve their goals, instilling a winning mindset.You will ensure individual plans are created then implemented to support in-role development and career aspirations and identify high potential people for development and succession planning.You will implement relevant customer satisfaction drivers in order to create highly satisfied customers in targeted segments and develop and foster strong relationships with key decision makers.You will interface with sales leadership / marketing regarding activities on programs to reach consumers and use sales reports and scorecards that include all relevant sales KPI's to coach team and monitor ongoing progress towards business unit goals.You will plan and commit to ongoing sales function competency development and selling skills reinforcement as per global initiatives and monitor and report on competitor activity.You will liaise with marketing around business strategy and develop and implement tactics consistent with brand strategies.You will consistently use a CRM (Salesforce.com), conduct account planning and manage the hybrid sales call plan (face-to-face and virtual), co-travel in field (3 days per week) and conduct sales business reviews.Accountability for management reporting and participation in sales meetings, to assist the Managing Director in setting the annual plan, mid-year review and forecast sales for your region is part of this role and in conjunction with the Managing Director and Business Analyst you will review sales by territory, product groups and customers, identify trends and determine reasons for significant deviations from sales targets.WHAT EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?Undergraduate degree in Business, Science, Nursing, or Medical-related discipline ideal, but not essential.5+ years' experience in medical device/consumables sales leadership with 5+ years' experience as a medical device sales representative.Ideally you will have completed sales training eg.
