THE ROLE We have an exciting full-time opportunity available for an experienced Sales Manager to join our Toowoomba team.
In this autonomous role servicing our customers around South East Queensland, Central Qld Coalfields, Northern NSW including the Hunter Valley and South Australia which encompasses the Broken Hill region. You will be responsible for:
Identifying, planning and pursuing business growth opportunities; Proposing solutions, presenting on our range of products and services, and successfully winning new business; Actively building relationships with prospective customers, along with your existing customer base and key accounts, and leveraging these relationships to secure further opportunities; Planning and executing regular customer contact, calls and visits to target areas (regular travel required); Working closely with the workshop, warehouse and administration teams to coordinate customer requirements in order to deliver on time, every time; Coordinating and executing the sales process from initial enquiry onwards, including associated administration; Taking ownership of your business development budget and associated targets to contribute towards our growth. WHILE THE ROLE IS BASED IN TOOWOOMBA, APPLICANTS OUTSIDE OF THIS REGION ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE This role is hand on, fast paced and autonomous so we are looking for someone energetic who is both organised and self-motivated. We're also looking for:
Solid track record in a similar business development/sales role; Experience in heavy earthmoving or undercarriage is a must; Exceptional relationship building skills and solutions-focused approach; Advanced strategic thinking and ability to think outside the box; Hunger to drive, deliver and over-achieve on sales/BD targets; Demonstrated negotiation and closing skills; Accountability to ensure we deliver on time, every time; Unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle; Ability to travel is a must.
