Your role
In your role, you will work closely with the executive team to manage key accounts and drive growth in both dairy and beef sectors. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing regional sales plans, cultivating relationships with key resellers, and implementing direct herd sales programs to support growers in improving their herds.
Specifically, you will:

Develop and implement a regional sales plan in support of the national strategic plan. Maintain and further develop excellent relationships with key resellers in your region. Support and guide a team of 2 experienced and autonomous sales reps. Manage unit sales and revenue generation from assigned customer accounts. Develop and implement direct herd sales programs for assigned herds. Develop detailed information regarding herds in the region and develop deep grower relationships. Manage and participate in industry marketing opportunities in the region. Procure and maintain accurate customer information for the region and drive business results via the CRM database. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual with a solid track record in achieving sales targets within the bovine genetics, dairy or a related industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cattle breeding requirements, genetics, and industry trends. You should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. An ability to demonstrate the following will ensure your success in the role:
Proven track record in achieving sales targets in the bovine genetics industry (or similar). Strong commercial acumen with sales and marketing expertise. In-depth knowledge of bovine primary producing industry and associated technology. Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
