About the role As our Regional Sales Manager – Ag Retail, you will lead our Ag Retail sales team and be responsible for delivering Pryde's Ag Retail budget and growing market share within the equine Leisure-User segment.
The horse feed market within Ag Retail & Leisure-Users is highly competitive and consistently challenging us to protect & grow our market share. In this role, you will lead a team of 6 territory managers to execute Pryde's sales strategy and maintain a strong field sales discipline across the team.
You will also:
Deliver monthly/quarterly/annual Ag Retail Equine sales budgets and provide accurate forecasting.Manage key wholesale accounts, buying groups, and retail groups.Build joint business plans with key customers and manage progress against the plan.Engage, manage & coach a field sales team and support the team to grow the ag retail & leisure-user market.Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with our customers.Engage with Leisure-Users to drive consumption.About You You have a positive attitude, are resourceful and resilient, and can think outside the box to overcome challenges and take advantage of market opportunities. You have a strong background in field sales with experience managing a sales team in a structured and disciplined way, accountable for delivering results. You are a leader who knows how to bring out the best in their team and can play a key coaching role to continuously improve sales competencies across the team.
You also have:
Experience leading a field sales team.Experience working in various field sales roles within the retail/agriculture sector.Experience in key account management.Strong understanding of effective field sales disciplines and commercial levers that drive impact.Financial acumen and strong analytical skills.Experience in Equine Nutrition or Ag retail would be highly regarded.
