We're responding to the challenges presented by a changing climate and leading the transition to a low carbon, renewable energy future.We're privileged to work with, live alongside and respect the culture of First Nations peoples who first understood the energy of this land.Regional Safety Advisor - Midwest Through an empowered and contemporary 'hands on' approach, provide advice, support and coaching to the business in the application and maintenance of the Safety & Health Management System, along with relevant Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice, to support and embed a strong Safety and Health culture in the regions.This is a permanent, full-time position. Your new role will:
• Drive positive change in safety and health culture throughout the Midwest region by supporting safety leadership to empower and enable positive safety behaviors across the workforce.• Support the delivery of our critical risk program which focuses on Horizon Power's 8 critical risks and monitor the implementation of our critical risk's controls and their effectiveness. • Partner with the business as a subject matter expert to provide advice, training, consultation and monitoring of our safety management system, policies and procedures, safety reporting, and incident and hazard management including correct actions.• Support Investigations including Incident Causation Analysis Method (ICAM) as required, ensuring investigations are completed in a timely manner to identify contributing factors and that appropriate corrective actions are implemented. • Support the Health & Wellbeing Specialist to champion and implement Health & Wellbeing initiatives in the regions.
