Physiotherapy, OT & Rehabilitation (Healthcare & Medical)Government - Federal (Government & Defence) As an EL 1 Regional Rehabilitation Manager you will be tasked with managing and executing complex rehabilitation initiatives; reporting directly to the Commanding Officer of Joint Health Unit Western Australia. This position is based at Leeuwin Barracks, however, the successful candidate will be required to attend health centres at HMAS Stirling (Garden Island), RAAF Pearce (Bullsbrook) and Swanbourne'.Your role involves leveraging an extensive understanding of legislative frameworks, government regulations and Defence policies to ensure compliance and effective implementation of rehabilitation programs. This position demands a high level of autonomy, requiring you to make informed decisions and provide subject matter expert advice. You will be responsible for the development, implementation, and review of relevant procedures, as well as engaging in intricate problem-solving and managing sensitive projects that could influence strategic, political, or operational outcomes for Defence.In addition, you will oversee the planning, leadership, and management of both human and physical resources. Joint Health Command's purpose is to provide a joint health effect enabling Australian Defence Force capability; achieved through the delivery of reliable, resilient, affordable and best practice health services. This health effect enables a healthy, ready, and supported workforce from enlistment through to transition. In addition, we partner with the Navy, Army and Air Force to ensure that our Defence Force's deployable health elements are equipped and skilled to provide health care in the deployed setting. As part of the Defence People Group, we make a direct contribution to the Australian Defence Force's operational capability, providing crucial support to the Defence of Australia.Joint Health Command has an integrated workforce of Australian Defence Force members, Australian Public Servants and contracted health professionals.
