About Inland Rail Inland Rail is a once-in-a-generation project that will complete the backbone of Australia's freight rail network. It will enhance supply chains by providing a transit time of 24 hours or less for freight trains between Melbourne and Brisbane. Inland Rail will connect regional Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland to markets more efficiently, drive substantial cost savings for producers and consumers, and deliver significant economic benefits. Inland Rail is the largest freight rail infrastructure project in Australia and one of the most significant infrastructure projects in the world.About the opportunityJoin our team at Inland Rail's Goondiwindi office as our receptionist, providing essential administrative and clerical support to employees and managers in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the professional and efficient management of front-of-house operations. Your responsibilities will include welcoming external guests, managing telephone calls, and handling various office communications. This is a permanent part time role working four hours a day three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Respond to incoming telephone calls and direct each call to the appropriate Inland Rail representative in a timely, professional manner to ensure a high level of customer service.Register, distribute and/or redirect all incoming correspondence and delivers and sort, collate and register all outgoing correspondence each day and arrange for outgoing courier pickups to ensure mail and courier systems run smoothly.Coordinate the sue of meeting rooms and resources to enable meetings to occur as required, including providing necessary refreshments and transferring used items to the kitchen facility.Monitor and maintain office supplies to ensure they are adequately stocked.Process related invoices for payment in the Company financial accounting system, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.Coordinate or carry out additional tasks to support business operations as required.About YouTo be successful in this role you will possess effective communication and organisational skills, be friendly and approachable, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management are also key for success in this role.
