Our Opportunity! Reporting to the National Clinical Governance Manager, the role of Regional Quality Advisor is responsible for the maintenance & roll-out of continuous improvements across our high-quality governance and risk systems that support effective decision making across our operations. The primary accountability of the Advisor is to monitor Infinite's governance standards, tools, and frameworks to drive a culture of best practice in corporate governance and risk knowledge sharing.
In summary this position will: Work across our 5 Aged Care Facilities in South Australia - Christies Beach, Hahndorf, Kilburn, Klemzig, and Gilles PlainsSupport the implementation, monitoring and review of the Quality Strategy, Quality and Governance Framework and Quality plans in line with the company's objectives.Support development and delivery of quality scorecards/dashboards by working with frontline clinical staff to develop appropriate quality metrics and indicators to promote continuous improvement in the quality of patient care.Support the organisation to meet regulatory requirements in relation to corporate and clinical quality management.Review and interpret new national guidance and legislation relating to Quality Improvement and identify local implementation for the Company.Support the Companies policy management processes, including compliance and governance.Provide expert advice, information and support to senior managers, clinicians and committees on matters relating to quality and compliance.Drive a culture of best practice in corporate governance and risk across the organisation.About You You are a passionate Registered Nurse with a strong focus for clinical governance, ideally in aged care. If you have NDIS quality assurance experience that would be a bonus! We like to live all our values but strive for excellence in this space of all things risk, compliance, and governance.
You will also:
Be a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.Have advanced knowledge of the Aged Care industry, relevant legislation, regulations, standards, and industry trends.Demonstrated experience in quality, risk, and governance.Have a comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Common Standards, Disability Services Standards and NDIS, Human Services Quality Framework, Aged Care Accreditation and Quality Agency, and a sound knowledge of, and sensitivity to, the range of issues impacting upon vulnerable people and their support networks.Have demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including service users, families, co-agencies, and funding bodies.Have a valid Australian drivers' licence.Who are we?
