The Northern Tasmanian Development Corporation (NTDC) is a regional development agency owned by seven Local Government Authorities. In collaboration with our owners and key stakeholders, NTDC drives regional development that allows northern Tasmania to thrive and grow.

The roleIn this role, you will work with a regional planning group to review the Regional Land Use Strategy and deliver other planning priorities for Northern Tasmania. You will be responsible for:
Providing executive support to the Regional Planning GroupCoordinating input into the review of the Northern Tasmania Regional Land Use StrategyDrafting documentation relating to project management and procurement of contract service providersWorking with strategic partners related to the review and managing their involvement expectationsCoordinating and co-hosting events and workshopsAssisting NTDC team with other projects of regional significanceThis role is offered as a 12-month contract with the option to work a minimum of 0.6 FTE with flexibility for additional hours as project stages require.
What you will bring to the roleWe are looking for a coordinator with excellent project management skills who can collaborate to achieve great things. You will have:
A strong understanding of, and experience in, project management and delivery of similar workStrategic thinking, with the ability to align work plans and projects to regional strategiesA demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships with diverse partnersThe ability to build and develop collaborative networks to build trust and achieve objectivesAlthough not essential, demonstrated experience in planning is desirableExcellent time and task management skillsTo be considered, your application must address the selection criteria concisely in a two-page letter of introduction and include a copy of your CV.
